Samuel Langhorne Clemens (November 30, 1835 – April 21, 1910) was an American humorist, satirist, lecturer and writer, better known by the pen name Mark Twain. He was born in Florida, Missouri and brought up in Hannibal, Missouri. After his father"s death in 1847, he was apprenticed to a printer and wrote for his brother"s newspaper. He later worked as a licensed Mississippi river-boat pilot. The Civil War put an end to the steamboat traffic and Clemens moved to Virginia City, where he edited the Territorial Enterprise. On February 3, 1863, "Mark Twain" was born when Clemens signed a humorous travel account with that pseudonym. He often uses exaggerated ways to show his irony.

What is the bet actually? Where does the attraction of the bank note lie in?
As far as i am concerned, the One Million Pounds Note takes an interesting, satirical look at the hypocrisy stemming from class distinction in England. England is a country where class and wealth are given extreme significance, especially among the rich. The novel shows the hypocrisy that existed among these people, how the rich are quick to change face when they find out that you"re a man of wealth and how within the next moment they revert back to their condescending selves when all wealth is lost. The story was based on the main theme by emphasizing on the hypocrisy of the upper class society but at the same time it also creates a balance that prevents the novel from being a mockery of the British society. The love story appears at the right time and there is plenty of comedy to keep one entertained. The ending is a little predictable but the director does an overall good job by rounding it up and presenting his points.
In my heart, Herry was so luckily, not everyone can get the chance to use the million. I am so envious of the "lucky" of the *e, but at the same time I would like to think that the reason why people carry favor with him is just that they attract too much important to money, isn’t it? In spite of this, she had never complained to anyone about the horrible suffering she had endured. Sara was confident, brave, optimistic and kind-hearted just like before and she had never given up her enthusiasm of life. No matter when, Sara acted like a princess, and on account of this, she had accomplished a great deal of miracles over and over again.

《三字经》采用叙事和论理并举的方法，运用大量的历史典故，蕴涵了我国古代人伦道德的许多精华，是一本学习中华文化不可多得的书。这本读物共一千多字，三字一句的韵文极易成诵，内容包含了教育、历史、天文、地物、伦理和道德，以及一些传说，广泛深动而又言简意赅。

曹操以微弱之身，起兵靖难，讨董卓，伐袁术，杀吕布，降张绣，灭袁绍，攻刘表。可谓雄极一时。刘备虽然兵力最弱，可是他仁慈，所以有人缘，谁都喜欢他，他投靠的大哥最多：公孙瓒，袁绍，曹操，刘表等等。可是后来诸葛孔明投靠他后一切都改变了，他挺进了蜀域，有了根据地，开始发展兵力，扩大地盘，雄霸西蜀，可是关羽败走麦城，被东吴所杀，刘备大怒起兵，被陆逊火烧七百里连营，战败猇亭，最后料得白帝托孤。
在三国中我是最欣赏关羽的，温酒斩华雄，过五关斩六将，古城相逢斩蔡阳，白马坡斩颜良诛文丑，忠勇过人最后却料得父子被俘，斩首敌营。关公的一世英名在此画上了不圆满的句号。

在这本书里面，我最喜欢的是小李广花荣。喜欢他的原因是因为他射箭准，和李广一样，所以给了他一个小李广的称号。在书里，他大闹清风寨，黄信把宋江和花荣捆绑走了，后来被燕顺等人打跑了黄信。后来花荣和秦明单挑，分不出胜负，花荣拔马就跑，暗取弓箭在手，回身一射，射到了秦明的红缨上，秦明带领官兵强行攻山，结果中了计，被擒。成功攻占了清风寨。
从这里我可以看出小李广这个称号对于花荣的.确适合，他没有瞄准，一转身就射，不偏不倚就射到了对方的红缨上，让人觉得不可思议!也很吃惊。
后来，梁山泊上的好汉排座次，分为了三十六天罡、七十二地煞，还把聚义厅改为忠义堂。
在最后，梁山好汉先后阵亡七十二人，到活捉方腊时，只剩下三十六人。后来，鲁智深圆寂，武松出家为僧。不久，林冲中风瘫倒;杨雄患杯疮医治无效死去;稍后时迁因患搅肠痧无药可治去世。半年后，林冲也死去。到最后只有二十七个被封赏。后来二十七人中年老去世或在人陷害死去。只有宋江和李逵和了被高俅下了毒的酒，而毒发身亡。
当我读完是我很震惊，怎么故事结尾会这样，开始时，我以为故事结尾不是这样的，没想到一百零八个好汉，个个都不在了。我觉得他们真的很了不起!
