今天我们在这里举行会议是为了迎接20xx年的第一场战役，也就是第一次质检，当然，我们的"最终目的是迎接高考。现在，英语学习进入了一个非常关键的阶段，也是一个瓶颈阶段。不少高三学生虽然努力学习英语，但仍然没有明显的进步，有时会感到力不从心，手足无措。其实最主要的原因可能在于学习方法上出现了一些问题。在这里我给大家提几点建议供大家参考。
一、制定计划。要想学好一门语言，首先要一个切实可行的计划，用以指导自已的学习，古人说得好“凡事预则立，不预则废。”做事有计划就不会打乱仗，也不会感到盲从。
二、专心听课。课堂是获取知识的主要来源，上课是学生进解和掌握基础的基本技能并在此基础上发展认知能力的一个关键环节，这就要求同学们始终保持高度集中的注意力，力争在课内就把一节课的内容记住，当堂消化。
三、及时复习。知识贵在落实，课后及时复习能加深和巩固对新知识理解和记忆，系统在掌握新知识以达到灵活运用，即知识迁移的目的。
四、掌握正确的记忆方法。英语是一门记忆很强的学科，要大量积累词汇。很多同学最烦记单词，总是抱怨记不住，以致于丧失了信心。这是因为你没有了解到记忆的规律，没有掌握记单词的技巧。现在我给大家介绍几种方法。
1、及时记忆法，要求上课时认真听讲，争取趁热打铁，当堂记住。
2、联想记忆法，如bridgroom和brid。有room的是新郎
3、分类记忆法，把单词分门别类，如动物、植物类。
4、感官记忆法也叫运动记忆法。尽可能发用多种感官，耳听、口读、手写、眼看、心记等。
5、构词记忆法，通过分析词根、前缀、后缀、派生和合成等记忆单词。
6、情景记忆法，把某个单词放在一个句子或者一段话中去记忆。
7、比较记忆法，反义词、同义词、同音词。
8、拼读记忆法，读准单词的发音是记住单词的前提，拼读记忆首先要求把单词读准确，充分认识单词的读音与拼写之间的关系。如nthusiastic
9、循环记忆法，任何先进的单词记忆法都必须进行反复记忆。学了可能会遗忘，为了防止遗忘，一定要不断发进行阶段性复习。可以把单词和重点句子写在长片上放在口袋里或贴在桌子上、放在枕头连随时记忆。有些单词不是你记不住，而是你重复的次数不够多。
五、培养良好的语感。什幺是语感？语感具有一听就清，一说就顺，一写就通，一读就懂的功能。那幺，怎样培养语感呢？
1、从听力训练开始，在听力方面，一是听课文录音带，去感知模仿形成正确的语音、语调，二是听英语广播、电视节目及原声电影等，三是认真对待我们*时的听力训练，要沉着、冷静、细心，抓关键词，瞄准下一个句子和题目。
2、朗读、背诵是培养语感的捷径。主要是多读课文及听力教材，要将一个单词读准，一个句子读顺，一篇文章读烂，*时朝读时要最大声、最快速、最清晰地读。通过诵读，同学们可对文章的语意、语法、语气、语调、节奏、重音了然于心。
3、要进行广泛阅读。阅读是吸收语言材料的最好途径，实践证明，学生阅读面越宽，语言实践越大，阅读理解能力便越强。只有通过读，才能够获得最大的实践量，才能享受到学习外语的真正甜头和学习的乐趣。阅读的数量多了，一些常用词汇、句式结构自然在脑子中形成了印象，也就逐渐形成了语感。现在我们每天至少应阅读一两篇文章。
4、多积累多写作是培养语感的必经之路。在*时写日记、周记，考试时尽量使用通过积累的高级词汇和句型，这样才能有效地提高写作水*。
六、要注重课本，排查要点，各个击破。这几年高考中都有课文中的原句子，同学们要善于发现隐藏在课文中的命题胚胎。
七、要持之以恒，孜孜不倦。俗话说“一日学，一日功”，“一日不学，十日空”。也就是要讲究一个“勤”字，做到天天读，天天背，天天练，天天总结，养成一种好习惯，这样你就离成功不远了。
八、要提高自已的应试素质，把*时的考试当作高考，把高考当作*时的考试。

There is a very beautiful river in Paris．It is the Seine,it runs across the City,people drink coffee, chat on the bank in the day,at night,they enjoy the beautiful scenery in the boat,songs from the river fly into the Sky made the river more attractive, the Seine is a famous symbol of France；on the west coast of pacific ocean there lies the modern City Shanghai,anot ther river which used to be a very important transportation route runs through the center of the city,people respected and regard it as＂mother＂．It is the＂suzhou river,but l believe that few of you would sit beside it,people will be scattered by the terrible smell of water when walk by．I have to say it is extremely dirty! People shouldn’t be short-sighted. Protecting the environment is everyone’s task.
As you know, there are four kinds of pollution. They are air pollution, water pollution, waste pollution and noise pollution. But what can we do to solve the pollution？I think, firstly, we can make cars that don’t pollute the environment. We can ask companies to use modern clean technology. In some big cities, we can limit the number of cars. Secondly, we can try to use less water and make sure that we do not pollute the water. We can tell factories that they are not allowed to pour waste water into the lakes and rivers. Thirdly, we should not throw rubbish in parks and cities. We can pick up rubbish if we see it. We can put more rubbish bins in our parks and cities. Fourthly, we can live far from the noise and make the laws to limit the noise.
The air, water and the whole atmosphere directly influenced our lives, such as the air, people may cough and it will lead to cancer. So we must try our best to keep the world clean and tidy. To reach it, I want to put forward three points to everybody---Point 1：don’t spit and liter；Point 2：don’t draw on the wall；Point 3：clean the streets every day.

During the time, they played jokes and they laughed all the time, do you know how embarrassed that is, everyone laughed except you. So I pretend to understand the joke in another party, I saw everyone laugh and I laugh too in 5 seconds later. My home stay was surprised about that and asked me “do you understand?”， and I answered “no”， “So why do you laugh?” ”because I do not want to be embarrassed”!
But as I receive this award today, I want to thank to them, because they encourage me to be involved with the commi* rather than staying in at home, play com*r and speak Chinese. When I came to Wantirna College first time, I met liz collar who is international student coordinator. She is very kind to me, and she encourage me join SRC, I went to SRC meetings regularly all the time, but I didn’t even know what SRC was! That is the reason why I told her, I don’t want to go to SRC anymore. But she said “why not? You should go and you have to go!”I asked” why?” she said:” because I said so!”
But as ii receive this award today, I want to thank her. She helps me a lot. With the development of modern science and technology, com*rs are widely used in every teritories [every field] including education. How can a com*r be my teacher? How does a com*r teach me? Multimedia helps a lot in this aspect in recent years, and com*r-based training (CBT) has become a popular educational medium.
Even before the multimedia come [came] up, many different learning systems appeared, using the components and techniques we now associate with the term “multimedia”.
Multimedia components, such as graphics , animations , sound and video, make the learning process easier through visualization. Animations can present many complex subjects dynamically, but human teachers can not do this on blackboards. Multimedia makes our study more lively and interesting.
For example, a CD-ROM disk named “Encarta Encyclopedia” contains 650 MB information including images, graphics, music clips, video clips, animations , texts, hotwords, and database search functions. Fields involved includes physical sciences, performance arts, social sciences, politics, military, education and so on. When pressing a button, I can hear American President Clintons speech clip.
I may enjoy playing all kinds of musical instruments in the world. I can also see the animation of many physical phenomena. This makes physical concept to be understood dee* [ concepts understood better]. The audio features of multimedia can greatly help me learning [learn] foreign languages. With its speech output capabilities, Im no longer dependent on an instructor for proper pronunciation.
How can I interact with a com*r? There are many ways, including keyboard, mouse pointer, and touch screen. I often use a keyboard.
When I press right keys, I can see and hear whatever I want. Information world is at my fingertip. I wish that true speech input-output system would be invented one day.
As teachers, com*rs have a lot of virtues：They are positive, they have good memories and never lose any information stored in them.
They have much knowledge in every field. They can let out all kinds of sounds, and can also improve the efficiency of our study. For example, if I want to, I can skip some chapters so that I can study at my own pace.

首先，让我们了解这项运动。足球是由皮革和其他材料制成的`，比篮球轻一些，也软一些。踢足球需要个比较大的球场。国际足联规定标准的足球场长度为105m，宽度为68m。上面铺满天然草皮或人工草皮，我们学校铺的就是人工草皮。足球场可能是世界第二大的球场（第一是橄榄球场），一座足球场可以容纳4至5万人，这可以让更多的人观赏足球。
开球时，双方队员各自站在中线两侧，由裁判监督比赛，一共有四名裁判，
一名主裁判，两名边裁，和一名替补裁判。比赛双方各有11名队员。这11名队员分工各有不同。他们之中最重要的是守门员，他是球队最后的的防守队员，站在球门前，他是唯一可以在禁区内用上肢触碰球的队员，如果其他人上肢触到球，将会被判罚犯规，甚至让对方得到点球，这是最简单的得分方法。而其他的队员站位皆有不同，我们管这叫阵型。今天我打算举出433阵型，这是传统的强力进攻阵型，也是当今足坛被称为“宇宙队”的西班牙巴塞罗那队常用的战术。为什么叫他们宇宙队？因为地球上的球队已经赢不了他们了。在阵型中有4名后卫，分别是2名中后卫，我们从右侧进攻，这边是我们的左侧，另一边就是右边，在这时一名左边卫，相反的是一名右边卫。其中中卫通常是身高较高，但是速度较慢，边卫速度较快，常常参与进攻，从两边突破，打乱对手的阵型。中后卫们是防守时最重要的球员，为了阻止对方的进攻，他们常常采取犯规战术，或者使用关门战术。在定位球时，也会采用造越位战术。
此外，我们还有3名中场，他们根据场上形势分为前卫和后腰，我最喜欢的位
置是后腰。后腰负责保护后卫前方的区域，而组织型前卫负责在场上组织进攻，通过不断地传球来寻找进攻的机会，这也被叫做穿针流战术，这种足球观赏性特别强。巴萨罗那拥有哈维，伊内斯塔，法布雷加斯三名世界级中场，在我眼里简直无所不能了。
