　　随着人类生产活动对自然的破坏与日俱增，野生动物的生存越来越艰难，不少物种已经或濒临灭绝。为了保护野生动物，人们采取多种方法，设立自然保护区便是其中之一。

　　近年来保护自然的观念深入人心，不少人因为喜欢动物而给它们喂食，但某自然保护区的公路边却明确警示如下：给野生动物喂食，易使他们丧失觅食能力，不听警告执意喂食者，将依法惩处。

　　给动物喂食难道不是更能有效地保护它们吗?不少人感到非常困惑。倒也是，野生动物灭绝的原因除了人类肆意捕杀外，最主要的原因就是因为缺少食物来源。而喂食看起来正好至少可以解决或部分解决这个问题。

　　然而野生动物与圈养动物的不同，恰恰就在于它们具备觅食能力，从而独立在野外生存、繁衍生息。喂食野生动物，的确可以在短期内帮助它们。然而如果一旦野生动物形成了对人类喂食的依赖，久而久之将逐渐因为无需觅食而丧失了野外觅食能力。

　　这一点可以从动物园中圈养的华南虎看出来，华南虎又称*虎，是我国特有的物种。原本森林之王的它们如今根本不知道眼前的活羊就是它们的食物，甚至也不知道如何猎杀一只鸡。虽然华南虎在国内各大动物园中看似香火兴旺，但圈养华南虎代表不了华南虎的未来。野生华南虎仍然处于濒危状态，并未因此而得到物种改善。

　　近几年，一个新名词“啃老族”兴起。指的是无能力独立生活、靠父母供养的年轻人。他们并非找不到工作，而是主动放弃了就业的机会，赋闲在家，衣食住行全靠父母。通常 “啃老族”年龄都在23-30岁之间，但事实上啃老族们的年龄存在逐渐增大的趋势。

　　无独有偶，“啃老族”产生的原因也与喂养有关。他们通常在父母的溺爱中长大，过着衣来伸手、饭来张口的生活。从而失去了在生活中和社会上独立自理的能力，而且也养成了懒惰和只接受别人的劳动果实的习惯，因而长大了还只会在父母的羽翼下生活，成为社会的寄生虫。

　　据有关专家统计，在城市里，有30%的年轻人靠“啃老”过活，65%的家庭存在“啃老”问题。“啃老族”很可能成为影响未来家庭生活和社会发展的“第一杀手”。*劳动力素质低下是削弱国家竞争力的一个重要原因，这里边“啃老族”贡献的因素不容忽视。
